May Day Studio is pleased to present our first (ever!) gift wrap!
Our new line of gift wrap sheets is inspired by the natural world. Sketched after witnessing the devastation of Vermont's landscape by Hurricane Irene, we were floored by the fields of flattened crops and the amazing rocky paths of the rivers.
10% of proceeds from sales of our gift wrap will be donated to a local nonprofit which directly benefits Vermonters everyday. As an example, 2016 sales were donated to the Washington County Youth Service Bureau (http://wcysb.org/).
Letterpress-printed (one sheet at a time) from an original linocut, available in six colors.

printed letterpress on a Vandercook SP-20
hand-mixed charcoal grey ink
softwhite Mohawk paper, 70# text weight

Sealed in a clear sleeve for protection, and ships rolled. Printed one at a time, so variances in inking are to be expected. But that's why you love letterpress, right?
